The sound is tight and driving, yet somehow unpredictable. The cascades of noise convey the image of a motor running at full throttle, where an explosion could occur at any second. Once you have embarked on this crazy journey, you will be fascinated by the alternating current somewhere between a flash flood and a roller coaster running off the rails.
The Berlin band Camera is rightly compared with the icons of seventies Krautrock, hardly any other band understands how to combine tribal kraut beats, driving guitars and diverse synthesizer motifs into such a bold collage of sound. Literally emerging out of the Berlin underground, the band has since played some of the most renowned festivals of planet earth, including Le Guess Who? as well as Roadburn Festival, where they joined Michael Rother on stage to revive the songs of legendary Neu!. We are very pleased to welcome Camera to our stage on Friday, 6th of October!
Friday 21:30 – 22:30
